What an amazing Valentines day! Our first time celebrating it as a married couple, and it was perfect! It started off with Knema making some lovely french toast, heart-shaped french toast actually, which was very sweet. Then we spent the day going to a few local stores, we did some grocery shopping, then came home and relaxed the rest of the night. After Knema finished his studying, we started working on our delicious dinner. We didn't want to go out to eat, because we were not sure how busy it would have been, and we just wanted to relax and take it easy. So, we decided to make a nice candlelit dinner ourselves. Knema made some delicious steak, and I made some yummy potatoes. We enjoyed it with a nice salad, and some delicious dessert afterwards....some chocolate covered strawberries we made in the early part of the day...
During dinner, Knema surprised me and played the first song we had playing during dinner at our wedding (Joe Dassin- Et si tu n'existais pas), which was very sweet. After dinner we watched a movie. We had a very nice evening just spending time with one another.
